Los Angeles-based John Zane Zappas creates sculptures and installations that question the way we negotiate systems of value. Zappas studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Skowhegan, ME. He received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BA at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. In 2012, he completed a residency at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art. Zappas was featured in the 2014 City Limits exhibition, "Making Space."
