Sarah Hotchkiss, "Casio Blue"

$500.00

Sarah Hotchkiss is an artist, writer, and curator who lives and works in San Francisco, CA. She earned her MFA from the California College of the Arts, and has attended residencies at ACRE, Skowhegan, and the Vermont Studio Center. She is one half of Stairwell's, which organizes group excursions, publications, and off-site curatorial projects.

Hotchkiss' double-sided painted wooden forms exist in between two and three dimensions. Drawing on an interest in graphic design, handmade craft, and the visual language of science, Hotchkiss creates playful and colorful imagery which is familiar yet undefined. Hotchkiss was featured in the 2014 City Limits exhibition, "Making Space."

If pre-ordered, this work will be shipped following the conclusion of the current City Limits exhibition on January 10, 2015.
